Happy New Year!

Yes, I'm still alive and here. Sorry I disappeared for a bit. I went up the Nam Ou river for a week without realizing that there is no internet or phone anywhere up there. In fact, there's limited electricity, which made it wonderful. I've never seen so many stars in the sky. This is going to be a short one for now since I've got a ton on internet stuff to catch up on, but I'll write a longer post tomorrow from Vientiane. Toodles!
